I found lots of posts stating their children speak in a monotone voice but I couldn't find any recommendations for helping to change the problem. We recently started singing hymns thinking this might help. Any other suggestions?

This was a huge concern of ours when my son was around 3-4 years old and all the professional staff on his "team" kept telling us that this would fade. I can't say that I believed them...but my son is now 5 and nothing sounds monotone or robotic anymore. He has fluctuations, emphasis, etc. and he now sounds very appropriate with his language. Not sure what exactly changed it - but as he became more fluent with his vocabulary, I think he was modeling his sisters' use of language and it just became habit for him. Now it is very natural sounding. Keep on keeping on!
