How did you fix leaky gut?

You can run an OAT urine test from the Great Plains Lab to see if your child has yeast problems. In most cases leaky gut is caused by bad bacteria and yeast overgrowth in GI tract.

My son is doing great on "Feast without Yeast" diet. This diet is less restrictive than GAPS or SDC diet and very effective in treating gut issues. I personally think that GAPS or SDC diets are dangerous because they contain too much meat and almost no carbs. I've seen some posts from parents saying their children lost so much weight and had no energy to move around. My son has a very healthy weight. He was low on energy while he had a dye-off effect on this diet, but right now he is a very active boy. This is a long term treatment though.
