The skin on Joey's fingers and toes have been peeling lately. We've never seen this before. I had a feeling or had read somewhere that this was a sign of mercury poisoning. So, I look it up and lo and behold, I find several articles on it.

Has anyone else seen this or have info?

Yes, I have. Gavin's had that for a long time especially during detox. I just posted something on the MB12/valtrex site about foot pads we were using that seem to be helping with that. I will paste my post here below.

Quote:
I just wanted to mention here about the foot pads we've used
with my son recently. My son is 8 years old and has frequently suffered
from horrible peeling, toes and feet. And it's only during detox
when he experiences this. We've put GSE on it with short term
success. We do lotions, antifungals, but nothing really took it
away completely. The last few weeks we have been doing the
footpads with him. We started off slow but then eventually started
using them everyday for a week. And his feet totally cleared up. I
mean fresh new skin...beautiful toes. Then I posted my experience on
the NCD board. Not thinking too much about it. I hadn't put them
on for two days, so I look at his feet again and the peeling is
starting again. Coincidence? Maybe. But for a child who
sometimes has a hard time playing PE cause the skin on his toes split and
bleed, it's something I am going to continue to do just to see
if it continues to help. Thought I'd post it here too because I know
Stan talks about excreting metals through the hands and feet. It all
makes so much sense. I read peeling toes and feet were signs of
mercury poisoning a long while back but never knew if it was
because of yeast-mercury connection or the mercury itself. Used to
drive me nuts why his feet would peel until Stan reported his Mercury
Vapor Analyzer experience.
My best,
TamiW

Hope this helps!
Tami

Whoa. I wonder if it's detox from the MB12? He's been on it now almost 5 weeks. I mean, we've NEVER seen this before and he's 5 now and this was the only different thing we've done.

What are these foot pads and where you you get them, Tami?

Thanks SO much!

I've just come across a bunch of sites that mention the peeling as mercury poisoning related. Interesting!

Hi Joey's mom,
Gavin had his feet get bad EVERY TIME we started any detox including MB12 shots. In fact, I think MB12 shots made them worse than chelation. And Valtrex has made them just as bad as with the MB12.

I got the foot pads from http://www.healthmarvels.net/product.html
The ones I ordered last time are the QUICK EDITION: QU-1. I figure I will start with that one. Next time I order I am going to get a combination of them. I think I will use the GREEN EDITION: KX-2 followed by the GREEN TEA and then finally getting to the GOLD EDITION: TRMX-2.

If you do decide to use them, start slow. Both me and Gavin had a tummy ache after the first night. But neither of us have had one since. If you try them on yourself, they are kind of cool. You can feel the sensation at the bottom of your feet after having them on for a while.

Hope this helps! Goodluck!

Wow, thanks, Tami. Where on earth did you find out about these? Do you think they add to detox or something?

THat's what the websites claim. They have independent labs testings on some sites saying what has been pulled. There are so many types out there that I am not sure which one would be best for what. The link I gave you was the one I ordered from. I have never tested the slime that comes out of our feet when we use them. I do plan to in the future but I'm gonna do the porphyrin's test on my family first so have to wait until after that. From what another mom posted on the NCD site, one doctor says that the feet are one of the body's way to detox. It was an interesting post.

Another mom on CK2 recommended the ones I ordered.

If you do a search for footsies or detox foot pads, you will see there are a lot of them out there. They are common, from what I read, in Japan.

My best,
Tami

Well, i never thought to make a link to my son's peeling fingers and toes until i saw this. I thought it was due to excema but it has only started since we ramped up the supps and detox.

Thanks people! Very very interesting!

Do you mean around the fingernails and toenails or on and between fingers and toes. DD toes have always been peel-y around her toenails after a epsom salt bath. She is a toe-walker (not as much as she use to be) so I thought the salt was softening the callused area from her toe-walking. HUMMMMMM...

Well, maybe it's related to detox, but it's also on the list of mercury poisoning symptoms. Sort of scary. I am deducing that it is a sign of detox for us, as we started MB12 five weeks ago, and we've never seen it before.

This is a link to the story about the kids who were mercury poisoned at the daycare center. They had peeling fingers and toes.

Interesting how these children had mercury poisoning, and yet the Governor was calling for "immediate action." Too bad our kids don't get the same consideration. :(

Babygirl, it is just all over. It's on the bottom of the toes, a lot - just peeling off in huge pieces, and around the fingers, at the tips, etc. Does not look good at all.
